Mrs. Meagan Holmes

Mrs. Holmes is not new to West High. She taught world history and U.S. history at West from 1990-92. She also taught U.S. history and government at South High from 1992-98. At South she was involved in Project 2000, History Day and the Constitution Convention. Also, she was the Social Studies department chair at South High.
While at West High, she met Steve Holmes and they have been married for 14 years. They have three daughters, McKenna, Madison and Mallory. During the years of 1998-2004, Mrs. Holmes took time off to raise her daughters, be a room parent and a member of PTO at her daughters' school. She has been a member of Junior League and a Sunday School teacher at her church.
Mrs. Holmes graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1989 with a degree in history and she earned her clear teaching credential in 1990 at while at UCSB. She has her MS in Counseling and her Pupil Personnel Services Credential which she earned in 2004.
Here goals for counseling students are: Working with children to attain their goals and emotional well-being. Be a support and advocate for each student and their needs.
