COMMENTS FROM STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM DURING THIS PAST SCHOOL YEAR (2009-2010):

"No one ever taught me about this before."

"This program will really help high school kids be more aware and hopefully prevent HIV.  I was a great class."

"This program helped me be able to talk to my parents."

"The lesson that helped me most was the one that taught me how to say 'no' to sex."

"I think that it's very serious and it only takes ONE mistake . . . then there's no going back."

"I learned something that could save my life."

"I believe that because of this class I will be abstinent."

"I liked having the class co-ed because it was nice to hear how some of the guys felt about risky behaviors."

"I have a new respect for abstinence and the people who use it."

"I wish I was still abstinent. I wish I had this class earlier because I've made some dangerous mistakes."  

"This class helped me realize sex is worth waiting for, and it’s not worth my life."
